HOPE helps Corona-hit construction site workers

Workers on construction sites were especially hard hit by the Corona pandemic. With several initiatives, HOPE supported this vulnerable part of the population.

Most of these workers, having no documents, cannot register themselves for any government aid and often go unnoticed or recognized. The builders do pay their wages but is it enough to care for their present need? Their families in the villages where they have come from are also affected. They need to share their little earning to support their families in the villages.

HOPEdistributed gains for nearly 500 workers with the help of the kind hearted people. De nobili Fathers and Holy Cross Sisters help to reach 300 workers and other individual donors helped to reach out to 200 people.
